Terminalia Arjuna (Arjuna)

(Herbal Extracts)
Terminalia arjuna, commonly known as Arjuna, is a large deciduous tree native to India and nearby regions. It typically grows between 20 and 25 meters in height and has a wide spreading crown with drooping branches. The tree’s smooth grey bark flakes off in thin layers. Its leaves are oblong to conical, green on top and brown beneath. Arjuna produces pale yellow flowers from March to June, followed by fibrous woody fruit with five distinct wings.

Often found near riverbanks and dry watercourses, Arjuna holds significance in traditional herbal systems for its diverse applications. The tree produces woody, fibrous fruits that mature several months after flowering.
